Hi,
The arts tour starts on Friday, June 20-22 and June 27-29. The Studio is looking great with all the art work for the tour. If you haven’t brought any art in for the tour, you can bring it in the
Next couple of days as long as you hang it yourself.
Loretta Addison will be demonstrating watercolor on Sat the 21st from 10-5, I’ll demonstrate watercolor on Yupo paper on Friday June 27th
From 10-5 with a mini free workshop from 1-4 (I’ll supply the paper, participates bring their own art supplies, fresh paint is best), Lesley Smith will demonstrate on Sat., June 28th from 10-5, so please
Come by and support the guild artists.
The Studio will be open both weekends from 10-5 Friday and Sat. and 1-5 on Sunday. Deborah could use some help during the tour. We have 2 people signed up for Sat the 28th, but we need extra help on the other days. Please contact Deborah at 706-886-6138, if you can help during the tour.
Please let me know if you want to participate.
Thanks,
Gail Watson

Artist Reception, April 8th

The Currahee Artists’ Guild is fortunate to host a reception for the international, well-known British artist, Josephine Wells on Tuesday, April 8 from 4-8 at The Studio. I urge everyone to attend And support her. She’ll have prints, limited and open and copies of her book, “The Fantasy World of Josephine Wall” at the event. Since we’re hosting the event, we could use some pastries, Cookies, etc., so if you can contribute let me or Deborah know. I’ve attached her press release, so you can learn about her and hand them out. We want Josephine to have a great reception and leave With a warm feeling for Toccoa.

Thanks, Gail
